Qualification : She has been an Associate of the Malaysian Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) since 1998 and a Fellow member since 2016.
Areas of expertise : Veteran in the capital market particularly in the listing and initial public offering (IPO) scene as a trailblazer in this industry.
Last position held prior to joining Ascendserv : She was the Senior Executive Director/Chief Executive of a reputable share registrar and issuing house services provider and Director/Trust Officer/ Principal Officer of a Labuan licensed trust company prior to her departure from her employment at end-October 2024.
Years of experience : Ms. Wong has 30 years of working experience in corporate secretarial, share registration and corporate advisory where 25 years were in senior management position.
Major achievement in past employment : During her 25 years tenure at her previous employment, Ms. Wong played a central role in the development and implementation of new software and new online platform to increase the use of technology to replace/reduce manual methodologies; she was most notable for bringing innovation and digitalisation to the share registration/issuing house industry by introducing many market changing products such as new processing/balloting system, electronic voting-by-poll at meetings.
These innovations raised the overall industry standards and revolutionised the landscape of the share registration industry. As the industry matured, Ms. Wong engaged actively with the relevant authorities and other industry players to develop and advance the industry.

Qualification : Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Multimedia University in 2013 and holds the International Compliance Association (ICA) International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering.
Areas of expertise : Jeff is a seasoned in-house legal and compliance professional, currently leading the Strategy, Legal, and Compliance function at AscendServ Group. With deep expertise in corporate services and governance, he delivers pragmatic, business-aligned legal and compliance solutions that effectively balance risk mitigation with commercial agility.
Last position held prior to joining Ascendserv : Jeff was Head of Legal – ASEAN at Vistra.
Years of experience: Jeff brings 12 years of experience in the areas of legal, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Major achievement in past employment : Jeff was recognised in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Southeast Asia 2023 and Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Malaysia 2023 for his instrumental contributions in driving organisational growth and success. He has also been invited on numerous occasions as a guest speaker to share his insights on AMLCFT, legal, and regulatory topics, including industry event organised by the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), exemplifying his thought leadership and industry expertise within the corporate secretarial sector.

Qualification : Shi Mei obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia in 2005 and was elected Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) in December 2009.
Areas of expertise : managing and catering to the corporate needs of foreign-owned companies and multinationals.
Last position held prior to joining Ascendserv : She was an Associate Director - team lead in the largest secretarial service provider in Malaysia and was the named Company Secretary on the board of 7 PLCs.
Years of experience : Almost 20 years of sound corporate secretarial experience from overseeing an extensive portfolio of clients more particularly foreign-owned multinationals, as well as domestic and public listed companies.
Major achievement in past employment : Shi Mei was exposed to a wide variety of corporate exercises such as IPOs, corporate restructuring, employee share scheme, private placement, share capital reduction, dividend reinvestment plan, incorporation of private companies and registration of foreign branches, to name a few. Special projects she handled include preparation of Business Continuity Plan and due diligence exercise for the proposed acquisition of business among others.

Years of experience : Cynthia brings over 35 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice and corporate governance.
Major achievement in past employment : Cynthia together with her business partner Irene, successfully built and led Corporate Partners (Asia) Sdn. Bhd. into a trusted and reputable company secretarial firm, known for delivering high-quality governance and corporate secretarial services.
The firm has maintained long-standing relationships with a wide range of clients, including public listed companies, reflecting the team's consistent professionalism, technical expertise, and client-focused approach.

Years of experience : With a total of 8 years of experience from 2016 to 2024, Stephanie has developed a strong foundation in the industry. She spent the last 2 years, from 2022 to 2024, where she honed expertise in managing IPO processes and investor relations.
Major achievement in past employment : In her previous roles, Stephanie has achieved significant milestones, managing the IPO process for over 40 companies. She also played a key role in organizing meetings with fund managers and coordinating the annual report at Sunway REIT Management Sdn. Bhd. Furthermore, Stephanie supported the Malaysian REIT Managers Association (MRMA) and was instrumental in hosting the inaugural MRMA conference in 2019, showcasing her leadership and expertise in the industry.
